Bus driver met with a punch for waking sleeping passenger

A bus driver in Luxembourg city was confronted by a violent passenger on Sunday morning after waking said traveller to tell him the bus had reached its final stop.

Upon being awoken however, the passenger responded very aggressively and there was a dispute. Eventually, he left the bus.

Several hours later, around 10.30am, driver and passenger met one another again at the same station. The aggressive man demanded the driver get out of the bus, which he refused to do, so the passenger decided to end the discussion with a punch.

Injured, the bus driver went to hospital. The aggressive passenger was later arrested and criminal proceedings were initiated against him.
