WARNING: SCAMS PRESENT IN SMALL ADS!

352LuxMag urges users to be vigilant and apply common sense in responding to ads posted online

Published on 10/02/2012 by | Read 1307 times.

352LuxMag has been informed of a number of active scams currently online in our Small Ads section.

Our team takes scamming and spamming very seriously and are tirelessly trying to wheedle out any bad eggs, some, though, will inevitably slip through the net.

That some readers have been conned out of cash is news that displeases us and we suggest that users of the Small Ads and Forum sections be extra diligent in their reply to posts.

It is important to remember that most ads are legitimate and only a handful carry any risk, but as a rule of thumb, avoid ads that suggest depositing funds in chequing accounts, or that require deposits ahead of viewing the goods/materials/location.

These should be approached with care. Even if they eventually are proven to be correct, it is better to be safe than sorry.

May we take this opportunity to remind you that the Small Ads and Forum sections are intended for viable personal use only.

Private enterprises and companies would be better contacting our sales department to discuss terms and conditions.

352LuxMag will actively pursue spammers and illegal advertisers, alerting the authorities to their location and URL.

If you have a question or suspect dodgy activity, please send an email to support@352luxmag.lu asap.

We will strive to clean the site of any nefarious deeds, but you, as the individual, must take responsibility for the security of your own belongings, cash and identity.

Kind regards

Stephen Lowe
