Quirky: Stumble through the internet
A recent search for an article led to a *new* icon and then a world of possibilites - for the lazy
Accidental searches are a risky business, so I've no idea why someone would want to use a site that, accidentally on puropse, finds you a 'random' entry.
Does anyone still, or has ever, use(d) the I'm Feeling Lucky tab on Google?
Stumble Upon takes this idea by having you enter a word, phrase or inkling into the search engine and it finds links to sites that are loosely related to what you might have been looking for in the first place.
It's all a little superfluous if you ask me, but in a world where virtual accounts are breeding faster than rabbits in season, do we really need something else to distract us from the task at (ahem) hand.
*well, it's new to us, 2008 was the launch year, apparantly - there are over 6 and a half million stumblers worldwide.
