The concept was born while Rachel Mallon, founder of Belle’s Bump2Baby Boutique, was on the search for great quality, stylish, practical and affordable clothes for her own kids – and a nostalgic notion of bringing back the home sale parties that she remembers from her childhood!I was also missing the social and professional interaction from my previous working life back in the UK, where I worked for the police and local government as a crime reduction consultant. As a mum of two young children and a relative newcomer to Luxembourg, I also appreciate the importance of building a new network of friends and support. So here at Belle's Bump2Baby Boutique we aim to combine the two - the opportunity to get together with your friends, make new friends, and shop! For those that prefer to do their shopping online, we have recently developed a website - free and homemade - so this will hopefully develop in the future”.

Rachel is just back from an amazing trip to Playtime Paris, a Trade Show which has 400 brands dedicated to kids and maternity fashion. The show hosts a unique selection of current collections and showcases future collections and trends from around the world. Belle's Boutique are looking forward to receiving their spring & summer ranges from Frugi and Kite Kids, both 100% organic ethically produced collections. Belle's Boutique only stocks 1 or 2 of each size from each range so if you're looking for something a little bit different go to www.bellesbump2baby.com

Other clothes on offer include UK brands such as Little Shrimp & Piccalilly. 352LuxMag asks Rachel why she has chosen these specific brands: “The Fair Trade market is growing in Luxembourg, and people are looking for something a little bit different from what's currently on offer. I chose the two lead brands (Little Shrimp & Piccalilly) as they produce non-seasonal practical ranges that are superb quality and can be worn all year round. Piccalilly create timeless designs from premium quality Fair Trade 100% organic cotton which means a longer shelf life and ensures products can be washed and washed. They have also been voted a Best Buy by Ethical Consumer Magazine. Little Shrimp also use only 100% organic cotton. This is a fun, colourful and unique range of baby, toddler and kids clothing up to 6 years. So far the brands and the home sales concept has been well received, and my kids have loads of new clothes!”
