New films at the cinema this week
This week's new movie releases at Utopolis and at Ciné Belval include the first installment of the Star Wars saga in 3D, and The Inbetweeners movie finally hits the big screens in Luxembourg!
Star Wars – Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D

Yes, it's true! It's been announced that all six Star Wars movies will be released in chronological order starting with The Phantom Menace in 3D and the others to follow a year apart from each other. Star Wars fans will already know the plot, but here's a short summary anyway: This first installment follows Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn (played by Liam Neeson) and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (played by Ewan McGrrgor), who escort and protect Queen Amidala (played by Natalie Portman) in traveling from the planet Naboo to the planet Coruscant in the hope of finding a peaceful end to a large-scale interplanetary trade dispute. The film also features the young Anakin Skywalker before he becomes a Jedi.

The Inbetweeners Movie

So the Inbetweeners Movie finally hits Luxembourg! If you've ever seen the award-winning hit TV series, you'll know these four socially troubled teenagers from England. In the movie version, Will (Simon Bird), Simon (Joe Thomas), Jay (James Buckley) and Neil (Blake Harrison) have finally graduated and finished school forever! To celebrate, they decide to go to Malia for their first lads' holiday together where their outrageous adventures continue!
Ciné Utopolis: Daily at noon, 4.45 & 10pm (Monday at 4.30 instead of 4.45) Saturday also at quarter past midight.
