Luxair passengers flying to Frankfurt on Monday, or arriving from this German city, could see their flight canceled at the last minute. A strike action at Frankfurt airport (no, not Hahn) was surprisingly prolonged by 24 hours by the trade unions behind it, meaning this industrial action will run until late Monday night. Since Luxair runs daily flights to Frankfurt, air traffic in and out of Findel could be affected. Passengers are being asked to keep an eye on the Luxair website. The 10:40 flight to Frankfurt on Monday morning wasn't canceled, but delayed by an hour. Decisions on further flights to and from Frankfurt are pending.

Luxair says it will do all it can to get affected passengers to Frankfurt by bus. Alternatively, people flying to another destination via Frankfurt will be offered a different ticket.
