Sportlereierung, the city's sports awards
On Tuesday evening, the Sportlereierung, Luxembourg city's sports award ceremony, was held at the Grand Theatre. The awards honour the capital's best athletes and sports club members each year.

A total of 221 people from 32 clubs of 22 different sports were honoured for their work. Luxembourg city has a total of 154 sport clubs offering 41 different types of sports.
Eight senior members from 5 different clubs also received distinction for their role as managers and directors of various sports clubs. This edition also honoured athletes in 2 new categories “junior” and “espoir” for promising young athletes.
