Rock-A-Field festival: first acts announced
The first acts have been announced for Rock-A-Field, these are Gossip, Kasabian, 30 seconds to Mars, Jan Delay, Ghinzu with more to come..
In less than five months the fifth edition of the now famous Luxembourg open-air festival "Rock-A-Field" starts.
On 27th June, the Sunday after the Luxembourg National Day, Röser, near Hesperange, will be the location for the rock music festival and hopefully good weather!
All "early bird" tickets stopped being sold at a cheaper rate of 45 EUR as soon as the first acts were announced and raised to 55 EUR per ticket with a 6 EUR charge.
The announced line-up so far is:
The Prodigy
The Gossip
Kasabian
30 Seconds to Mars
Belgian group “Ghinzu”
German singer “Jan Delay”
Other bands are likely to be announced in the coming weeks but one rumour that keeps floating around is that Green Day may join the line-up but this is not confirmed.
The total number of acts performing is not known at this time. Apart from the famous international music groups, the Rock-A-Field is also well known for being a stomping ground for local Luxembourg bands to perform and they are likely to be a-plenty this year.
No fewer than 15,000 people are expected at the festival location in Röser on 27th June, maybe more.
