Luxembourg 'Green' police cars are actually yellow

In an aim to be more environmentally friendly, Luxembourg police are currently testing 3 types of 'green' cars. If successful we may see more of them in the Grand Duchy

From the New Media Lux offices in Hamm where Station.lu is located we overlook  one of the  main buildings of Luxembourg police.  Recently little strange looking yellow cars have been darting to and from the police station.

It appears that Luxembourg police are currently testing 3 different types of environmentally friendly cars: a totally electric car, a hybrid and an LPG car.

The totally electric car, is the one seen from our offices, so the green car is actually yellow!

The car tests are an aim by the police to save energy and the environment and all the police departments will be able to give their opinion.
The idea of testing these vehicles is also approved by Marco Schank, Minister for Sustainable Development.

Although these vehicles may be great for whizzing about town, it is not sure how suitable they will be for chasing big fat Mercedes down the A6.
