An emergency power generator located in the basement of JP Morgan Bank in Senningerberg caught fire on Tuesday night at about 7pm

The 4 by 1.3 metres wide PSU (Power Supply Unit) was not connected to the network. The liquid inside the unit ignited, scorching the plastic container that housed it releasing toxic fumes. The entire building was then completely evacuated.

Firefighters were called and the fire rapidly extinguished.

Four people, three employees and a security guard were treated with possible fume poisoning in the hospital. Two were transported by ambulance; the other two were able to make their own route to be examined in Kirchberg hospital.

At about 8pm the office block in Senningerberg surrounded by about 20 other companies in the European Bank & Business Centre, was declared safe.
