The banks of the lake in Echternach and the hillocks that create a kind of natural amphitheatre were the setting for the 15th e-lake festival from Friday to Sunday last week.

Big crowds turned out for the 3-day event, both those new to e-Lake and those who have been returning for many years. In fact the organisers are quoting 8,000 total visitors, coming not only from Luxembourg, but the entire greater region and beyond.

The attraction of the festival, apart from the fact that it is totally free, is the diversity of the three days: Friday was live acts on 2 stages including local acts such as Skor (who you'll be hearing more of soon on Station.lu), Angel At My Table and De Läb amongst others, as well as several international acts including the highlight of the evening, K's Choice from Belgium drawing in a massive crowd of people jostling for space.

Saturday was the DJ night, with a long list of quality acts. Crowds bounced around until 3am to both local and international DJ sets.

Sunday entitled “party time” was local acts from the surrounding areas and differing styles of music

Station.lu was there on Friday and Saturday to capture some shots from acts, atmosphere of e-Lake and chat to Lex Bausch the festival's Press Relations guy, and also got some feedback from festival goers.
