‘Discover Luxembourg’ is about to take place for a third consecutive year and is an opportunity to see, explore and of course “discover” Luxembourg City.

What’s it all about?

Discover Luxembourg is aimed primarily at non-Luxembourgers but open to everyone. The route takes place in three main areas of the city, allowing you to explore the Duchy’s capital discovering the cultural, historical, culinary delights whilst collecting points from the various challenges and of course aiming to win that first prize. Each team will be given an information pack at the beginning of the course, some of which might be useful when trying to solve clues...

The event takes place on Saturday 11 September and is supported by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office, the Ville de Luxembourg and several other partners.

There will be two courses available: the short course which is intended for families with young children, and the long course which is geared towards businesses, clubs and associations.

Who can enter?

Absolutely anybody is eligible to enter; the only condition is there must be at least one person over 18 in each team. Teams will complete their course, which involves passing different ‘Stations’ along the way where they must take on the sponsor’s surprise challenges. One person out of the team will be nominated to complete the challenge at each Station.

Useful information

Organisers suggest wearing comfortable shoes for the day as the course is expected to take three hours to complete. Information on the day will be available in English, French and German.

After a hard day’s work by the teams and organisers, a party is planned. The location of the After-Event Party will be the final Station for all teams but will be kept a secret and will only be disclosed on the day of the event. At the party there will be a prize-giving ceremony, food and drink and live music.

Discover Luxembourg is not only a fantastic opportunity for families, friends and colleagues to discover the city and for national corporate sponsors to showcase their brands, but the event also supports a local charity.
