Terres Rouge open-air festival Sunday!!

The Terres Rouges Festival comes to Esch-sur-Alzette for the tenth year running at the beginning of September in a 3-day event. The highlight being the open-air music festival with international and local acts - Win tickets now!

It has now been 10 years since the Terres Rouges festival has been taking place in Esch-sur-Alzette, as it goes from strength to strength. This tenth year will see an impressive 3 day libe up of entertainment.

From Friday 3 to Sunday 5 September, Esch-sur-Alzette becomes the place to be in Luxembourg with street entertainment, live performances and the icing on the cake; the open-air music festival with an impressive list of international and local acts.

Here's how the festival pans out:

Friday 3 September sees the start of the street festival:

5pm to 6pm - The start of street entertainment in rue de l’Alzette
6pm Start of the children's parade
6:15pm Arrive of the parade at the town hall.
6:30pm to 7:30pm - A big show created during the summer activities programme
« Theaterzelt »
8:30pm to 9:15pm - Big show « La plume de Newton » (Newton's feather)
10pm End

Saturday 4 September

11am to 6pm – Graffiti entertainment with Hip-Hop demonstrations on Place du Brill organised by Musée de la Résistance and Service Jeunesse.
2pm to 8pm – Street entertainment in Rue de l’Alzette and at Place de l’Hôtel de Ville by about 40 different acts and artists.
7pm Big performance “ Theaterzelt” in the Place l’Hôtel de Ville
8pm Grand finale - “La Cour des Fées” (The court of fairies)

Sunday 5 September

And so we come to the highlight of the entire festival. The open-air concert at Galgenberg in Esch-sur-Alzette with live international acts such as

The Rasmus from Finland
Gabriella Cilmi from Australia
The Parlotones from South Africa
Stanfour from Germany
Jennifer Rostock from Germany
Martha from Germany
And special guest Die Atzen from Germany

For local bands we are very pleased to see good friends of Station.lu playing once again:

Eternal Tango
Angel At My Table
As well as: Super heroes in ties

And apparently there are more bands that may well be added to the list!

Tickets for the concert cost EUR 25 and you can buy them from the websites www.e-ticket.lu and www.show.lu

But that's not all, you can grab them at the ticket service at Luxembourg Gare, the record shop “CD Buttek biem Palais” in Luxembourg City, Tourist Information office in Esch sur Alzette and all Sales Lentz agencies.

There's even a Terres Rouge hotline: 900 75 100 (62,72 cts/min).

The whole festival kicks off at 12pm on Sunday 5 September, continuing until about 11:30pm
