Ciné Belval's drive-in movie season
Ciné Belval near Esch-sur-Alzette starts a four night season of drive-in movies next to their cinema with a mixture of classics and new films.
Movie fans can park up for four days of movie magic from tomorrow night when Ciné Belval opens its first drive-in cinema.
The outdoor venue, based on the popular drive-in cinemas of the 1960s and 70s, will allow film fans to enjoy movies from their cars and hear the soundtrack via their radios.
Organised by Caramba cinema, the venue, in the Square Mile in Belval, Esch sur Alzette, will offer food and drink from nearby kiosks and space for up to 130 cars to park and watch the movies.
Thursday 26 August:
Drive-in KinoBelval kicks off on Thursday night with French comedy ”Bienvenue Chez Les Ch'tis" at 10pm (only in French without subtitles).
Friday 27 August:
Saturday 28 August:
“Grease” will be shown on Saturday at 10pm, “Planet Terror” at 2am (although that's officially Sunday morning)
Sunday 29 August:
On Sunday movie fans catch catch “Bullit” at 10pm.
Tickets cost 10 euros but spaces are limited and visitors are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
