Luxembourg law "defies spirit of integration"
A Belgian minister has criticized the Luxembourg government over its withdrawal of child benefits for cross border workers.

Belgian employment minister Dominique Tilmans called the reform “contrary to the spirit of European integration” and “a great injustice to cross border workers”.
She said: “It is clear that decisions made by the Grand Duchy and their side effects result in the creation of two classes of worker with different social rights depending on where they live.”
