Versus You in their five years of existence, rapidly established themselves as one of the most popular bands in Luxembourg with their punk style, appealing to a wide audience.

“War is like a drug to you” is their last single that currently sits at number 11 in the RTL charts, and comes from their EP of the same name.

Now they've reached five years old, the band thought it about time to celebrate their existence with an “cozy” acoustic show, combined with drinks and barbeque at the café “Kleng Gemeng” in their home town on Mamer. “Mamer is our hometown, we practice and wrote all of Versus You songs here and when we're not playing music we hang around in that bar”, explained the band's singer, guitarist and song writer Eric Rosenfeld.

Eric went on to explain, “this band still means so much after 5 years and although 5 years might not seem like that long, we played hundreds of shows, released 3 albums and an EP and did 3 tours and so now after all that hard work we feel like celebrating this with friends and people who always supported versus you in any way and not forgetting that we had the chance to play with so many of our favourite bands and influences”.

The celebration takes place from 8pm at Café "Kleng Gemeng” on Saturday with free entrance. Versus You's special guest group “All The Way Down” will also be performing acoustically at the bar.

“We're gonna perform acoustically and we're gonna try to play more than an hour, which never really happened before” explained Eric before adding, “the bar's open until 3am and drinks will be cheap!". 

So get yourself down to Café Kleng Gemeng in Mamer for a night that promises to be a lot of fun!
